#mortalkombat: Stealth-Ninja says: Hi DanaHee. How are you?

Dana Hee: I'm doing fine, currently working on Martial Law and busy training.

#mortalkombat: JUMBO-DEATH says: Were you in Mortal Kombat 2 or 1?

Dana Hee: Actually, I was in 1, 2, and the TV series.

#mortalkombat: clintele says: How did you get picked for the role of Mileena in MKA?

Dana Hee: I think I was the most likely candidate because it was such a small part and I was already going to be on the film for the stunt doubling for all the other girls. The fact that I had the physical talent, and the look, that's why I got chosen.

#mortalkombat: [scorpion] says: Does anyone ever get accidently kicked or punched on set?

Dana Hee: Yes, occasionally mistakes DO happen. We actually had an incident on MKA where one of the stunt girls got her lip split because we were trying to do some kicks with wires and we did not have the control that we normally would have.

#mortalkombat: Darth_Yoda says: Hello, is there a third mortal kombat film in the works?

Dana Hee: Will there be another MK movie? Who knows? But my guess is that it would be inevitable.

#mortalkombat: Princess_Orchid says: What was it like working with the cast of MKA and MKC? Is there any difference? What was it like?

Dana Hee: There is always a difference between different crews. The MKA crew was mostly a London based crew, and they were very professional and hard working. But, because we were always under such heavy workload, it was a very touch shoot for all of us, so there was not as much time to have fun and joke around with each other. Yet, on MKC, we were working with a Florida based crew that was very professional and fun loving. It was a much more relaxed.

#mortalkombat: Stealth-Ninja says: Are you working on anything right now at your job?

Dana Hee: Currently I'm working on Martial Law as a stunt double, and I'm also auditioning for acting roles in other TV series.

#mortalkombat: sub-zero4 says: What mk character did you enjoy playing as the most?

Dana Hee: I most enjoyed playing Kitana in MKA, but I wasn't really playing her, I was the stunt double for Talisa Soto.

#mortalkombat: [scorpion] says: Are you married or have a boyfriend?

Dana Hee: Not right now.

#mortalkombat: MiKeMcD5 says: You have been a stunt double for Nicole Kidman a few times in the past, why so many times?

Dana Hee: Usually, once an actress likes your work, and they have a little bit of power, they tend to request you on their current show. With Nicole I ended up in the hospital on Peacemaker doing a stunt for her and she was nice enough to say that she would continue to hire me in the future.

#mortalkombat: [scorpion] says: The Sai's that were used in the movie were they 100% real, and were they yours?

Dana Hee: Yes on both counts. I was just recently learning the kama at a Mike Chat seminar this last weekend, so maybe my next weapon on a film will be the kama.

#mortalkombat: Stealth-Ninja says: What Martial Arts do you practice and use?

Dana Hee: I started out in Shotokan karate, I also did Shorinryu, Praying Mantis Kung Fu, and of course, Tae Kwon Do. But, as a result of traing with a lot of different martial artists around the world I've had the opportunity to practice a lot of different styles. Oh, also, I used to do PKA Kickboxing.

#mortalkombat: NosajMKcom says: I read that you won a Gold Medal in the Olympic Games in 1988. Could you tell us about that?

Dana Hee: Yes, Tae Kwon Do was a full contact fighting sport introduced in the 1988 olympics. My weight division, light weight, wihich is 121 lbs to 132 lbs. The matches are fought in 3 minute rounds with a minute break. It is similar to boxing, but you use your feet instead of your hands, and of course the best way to win is by knockout.

#mortalkombat: tajasluv says: How can I get a autographed picture of you?

Dana Hee: Threshold will be setting up an email address soon that you can email your address to in order to get an autographed picture.

#mortalkombat: BLAZE77 says: Which of the MK's did you enjoy the most?

Dana Hee: It's between MKA and MKC, because MKA we traveled all over the world shooting in some of the most exotic locations which was a once in a lifetime experience. And yet, MKC was so fun for me because every few weeks we had new extremely talented martial artists that came in to fight on the show. So, it was like having a lot of fun people to play with.

#mortalkombat: {k}nightmare says: Do you enjoy being girl of the month?

Dana Hee: Of course!

#mortalkombat: STAR_WARS_FREAK says: Who is your favorite fighter in the MK games?

Dana Hee: Liu Kang is my favorite.

#mortalkombat: Sub-Zero says: What were Kitana's fans made of?

Dana Hee: We had one set of fans made of a very light steel and one set made of plastic, but the plastic ones didn't work very well, so we were forced to use the heavy metal ones most of the time. They were VERY difficult to work with because of their size and weight.

#mortalkombat: Turgo says: How was it to film with Robin Shou?

Dana Hee: It was great filming with Robin, I consider him one of the most talented martial arts men out there. Plus, he's a good actor, and I thought he was perfect for the role.

#mortalkombat: Sonya says: I heard it was freezing when you had to film the fight with Sonya but overall how did it feel to wear that outfit and was it hard to use the sais?

Dana Hee: We filmed the fight with Sonya in the mud in a hurricane in Wales, and there was freezing rain coming down half of the time and we were fighting in the mud and water, so it was extremely difficult to move like we really wanted to be able to move. I kept dropping the sai because my fingers were so frozen.

#mortalkombat: clintele says: Do you think you'll make a comeback as Mileena on the second season of Mortal Kombat Conquest?

Dana Hee: If I came back for a second season I think I would play the same role.

#mortalkombat: Sonya says: I saw your name on the stunts for "The Long Kiss Goodnight" and I just wanted to know if it was hard for you to double as Geena?

Dana Hee: The Long Kiss Goodnight was one of the toughest films I have ever done. It was extremely difficult doubling Geena on that show. This was because we were filiming in Canada, outside, at night, in one of the worst winders they had ever had. Imagine trying to do your most athletic moves while your body is frozen. That's what it was like trying to do stunts.

#mortalkombat: Stealth-Ninja says: What were the movies you played in besides Mortal Kombat Series?

Dana Hee: Independence Day, Last Man Standing, Mimic, Time Master, Stranger By Night, Virtuosity, and some others. Most of the other shows I have done were very small parts, and my biggest/best work was done on MKC and a TV show called Profiler. I'm still new to the business, but have done a multitude of top films as a stunt woman.

#mortalkombat: JFB says: Do you play Mileena in the game?

Dana Hee: Yes, but I must say that I don't usually choose her a lot.

#mortalkombat: Solid_Snake says: How long is the tv show going to last?

Dana Hee: No one really knows in this business, how long a show will last. But I suppose it will last as long as their is interest from the fans.

#mortalkombat: tajasluv says: Is your character really dead?

Dana Hee: Are the undead ever really dead? I think not.

#mortalkombat: Sonya says: Was it hard to learn how to work with the sai's?

Dana Hee: Yes, sai are very difficult to learn. It takes much more practice than some of the other weapons.

#mortalkombat: Princess_Orchid says: Were you in your's school band in any way, shape, or form? Play any sports for your school? Or in any clubs?

Dana Hee: Yes, I was a national high jump champion in high school. I was also a member of our drama team and choir in high school.

Dana Hee: Thanks for all of your support and interest by being here tonight at this chat session. Hopefully you will enjoy the work that you will see me doing in the future. Take care, and God bless.

Webmaster's Note: Due to technical problems beyond our control, Dana Hee's chat was cut a little short. We apologize to our fans who didn't get a chance to ask her questions but rest assured she will return in the future.
